How Woodhorse Came to Life !

As mothers to two spirited little girls — a curious 2-year-old and a confident 6-year-old — we found ourselves on a daily mission: trying to find clothes that were cute, trendy, and truly comfortable. And trust us, it wasn’t easy.

Every family outing turned into a test. Our sweet Vivi would start off excited, dressed to the nines… but within just a couple of hours, that joy would turn into discomfort. The fabric would stick, the seams would scratch, and all she wanted was to come back home and tear it all off. That sigh of relief when she changed back into her soft pyjamas? That moment spoke volumes — and it became the inspiration behind Woodhorse - Rocking the First Steps of Childhood.

Lea, our 6-year-old little fashionista, has always loved dressing up. But with her sensitive skin, even the prettiest outfits often caused irritation. We’d end up carrying two outfits everywhere — one for the party, and another just to keep her happy afterwards. All we wanted was one outfit that she’d love and feel good in. What started as a search for the perfect birthday dress soon grew into something bigger — a vision to create stylish yet skin-friendly occasional wear.

And that’s how Woodhorse was born — from the hearts of two determined moms, Decina and Neelam, who believed that comfort should never be compromised for style.

We created Woodhorse so that our girls, Lea and Vivi, and children everywhere, could move freely, play happily, and feel just as cozy in their outfits as they do in their favourite pyjamas. Because childhood is meant to be joyful, soft, and full of magic — and every step they take deserves to feel like home.

Our priority is on providing comfort clothing to our little ones with style . We pride in using natural materials, opting for organic and naturals fibers from socially responsible sources. Some products do contain traces of synthetic fibers (for outer layer) but that only amounts to a very small part of our collections and we always strive to ensure that the inner clothing that touches our little ones are always pure cotton or natural fibers.

Our collection includes clothing that are nature friendly and less toxic to the environment than synthetic fibers – that is why we use cotton, linen, silk and wool in our products .We also use organic cotton, which is significantly more eco-friendly
